2010 – Marion Stearns

Marion Stearns was diagnosed with Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disease in 1990. CMT is a disease of the peripheral nerves which causes weakness and atrophy of the hands, lower legs and feet.  This has not stopped her from being the number 1 volunteer for MDA of New Hampshire.  Marion started  volunteering for MDA in 1997 and has also been a Red Cross volunteer for more than 17 years.  She has 4 children, 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Marion lived in Manchester and we are sad to note her passing on January 23, 2012.
